Surviving the Extremis Threats of the Grimdark

In Warhammer Survivors, surviving endless minion waves is only half the battle. At predetermined time intervals, the swarm parts as massive Extremis Bosses enter the arena. These colossal adversaries boast immense health pools, devastating telegraphed attacks, and special mechanics designed to test your champion's DPS and evasive footwork.

Essential Boss Combat Tactics

1. Maintain Wide Kiting Circles

The biggest hazard during a boss fight is not the boss itself, but the surrounding minion horde. If you get boxed in against the map border, the boss's telegraphed slams will finish you off. Move in broad, sweeping ovals across the center of the arena.

2. Single-Target Burst is Mandatory

Pure area-of-effect weapons clear swarms, but struggle to burn down massive boss health bars. Having at least one dedicated single-target powerhouse—specifically the Lasgun Evolution (Meltagun)—reduces boss fight durations from minutes to seconds.

3. Knockback Control

Weapons like the Boltgun Evolution and Power Fist Combos apply concussive force that interrupts elite mini-boss charge animations, giving your champion room to breathe.
